Dr. Andrew has achieved Certified Advanced Proficiency in Torque Release Technique, which has been proven through research to be one of the most specific, scientific chiropractic techniques in the world. Torque Release Technique is the first chiropractic technique of the new millennium, and provides practice members of all ages with some of the most gentle and reproducible chiropractic adjustments available. Dr. Andrew utilizes this technique to find the root cause of your health issues; and because of that, he gets to see life changing results on a daily basis.

What makes TRT different than other chiropractic techniques?

Torque Release Technique (TRT) is one of the newest, most advanced techniques in the profession, and it is one of the most specific, scientific techniques in chiropractic today. It allows for each adjustment to be delivered with the spine in a perfectly relaxed, neutral position, as opposed to traditional manual techniques, where the body is stretched to a point of tension, followed by a manual thrust. With the help of the Integrator - a tool designed specifically for this type of adjustment - the adjustment is delivered with the precise amount of force and torque to make the adjustment effective, without causing unnecessary inflammation or tenderness. Torque Release Technique has been proven through research to help the body heal better and faster than ever before.

Why do we use it?

TRT works directly with the nervous system. Dr. Andrew uses heel checks - a stretching of the achilles tendon - to locate where the most significant neurological compromise is occurring along the spine. We call these points subluxations. This nervous system compromise or interference is the root cause of aches, pains, and dysfunction in the body. Dr. Andrew then corrects the subluxations in your spine with precision and efficiency, enhancing your body’s ability to produce results quickly. With this technique, we can restore the health of our community by removing the interference in the nervous system that is keeping us from our fullest potential.

What is the Integrator?

The Integrator was the first FDA-approved chiropractic adjusting instrument. It was created out of a research study that looked to produce the same precise adjustment each time with reliability between different physicians. The instrument fires at 1/10,000th of a second, making it one of the fastest adjusting instruments in the world. We know from physics that force equals mass times acceleration. If we increase acceleration, we can decrease the amount of mass that most adjustments by hand require.  Additionally, the surface area of the Integrator is relatively small compared to the hand, allowing very precise and specific adjustments. While all chiropractic care performed properly is safe and effective, from this concept, we see that the Integrator is one of the safest adjusting options on the market. Practice members enjoy the gentle adjustment without the traditional twisting, cracking, and popping sound of manual adjustments.
